This is my dad’s blog that he has been writing for more than 4 years now. It is his personal journal about his investment and stock market trading techniques using technical analysis. I moved the blog from a typepad hosted account to a wordpress platform hosted by my servers. In order to help finance the blog I built in some adsense codes and helped him to nearly double his monthly traffic in a period of two months. This was a passion project I took on because I fell in love with a local jazz lounge. I felt the need to share this little local favorite with the world in the best way I knew how. Although it has since closed due to financial complications, I have provided a live demo of the site.
Ultra Naté is a Baltimore native club singer who asked me to help her make changes to her site. I didn’t create the design of the site but I transformed it from a static html, iframe plagued site into a PHP, fully SEO-friendly web presence utilizing jQuery for displaying photos and videos.
Another Facebook page designed for a business client. Using a template I designed I created an image to fit within a set area and combined it with html/css and facebooks fbml to create a unique look for McFadden’s presence.
This was a truly unique program that I was a part of when I was in college. Centered around the idea that an individual can learn how to be a citizen, the program taught students the value of civility, tolerance and community service within a tight community of less than 200 students.
