So really the only way to tell if it is a scam is if they ask for a money transfer not through PayPal or other credible money exchangers. Beyond that nothing else you posted is a sure sign of a scam. Probably the only thing I have bought on Craigslist are things that we’re “too good to be true”. People needing money fast. Not having room for or use for. And honestly people who I don’t know if they knew what they had.

First of all, who in their right mind would fall for scams like the examples given above??? It doesn’t take a genuis to figure out if you are being scammed or if it’s a legitimate ad. Sorry, but even a box of rocks has more common sense than that. Seriously people, use your brain!!! I got an email from a scammer last week who claimed to have a very nice townhouse for rent. This person then proceeded to tell me his life story about how he had to move to AFRICA to care for a sick relative and that’s why the rent is so cheap. THEN……….well, you guys know the rest lol Asking me to fill out an application that had the most outrageous questions! Then saying he would send the keys to the residence after recieving a deposit. I was like “yeah ok whatever, idiot!” I said “do you honestly think people will fall for that crap?” And for those of you who do actually fall for it, well, you kind of asked for it so it’s your own fault.

the advert down from criagslist so that i can be rest assured that am
in hand of the item.

for a contracting Job but i will send a cashier check through my Bank
to cover the cost of the items. The check will be delivered to you by
a reliable courier company within 2-3 working days.

P.O.BOX.] and also indicate your final price,
the Name that should be on check and finally a cell phone #. Once
again kindly delete the posting because am serious in buying it, when
the Funds Clears then we can arrange for the pick up asap.

with my husband. It has only 29, 000 miles!!! The

This car runs as good as a new one and has no
dings, dents, or scratches. The divorce has finished

A new trend in Chicago, at least is to make you fill out a credit report at a listing of their choice, without giving you their contact info or the location of the condo. This is the 3rd apartment listed in such a manner. The previous two were listed by 2 different individuals but all have the same price $760/month, and conditions and linked credit check website that I am sure is a re-direct and not really legit. I have no problem bringing a credit report on myself, but the previous one was worded, as is this one, that if you don’t go to this web site first she will not reveal the location of the apartment.
